Christmas Lunch
During the festive December gathering, the Wednesday Break group assembled for a traditional christmas celebration. Following a heartwarming reading of a classic Christmas passage that captured the spirit of the season, the members joined together in singing a few beloved holiday hymns. Their harmonious voices filled the room with warmth and joy, creating an atmosphere of community and shared celebration. After the musical interlude, Carolyn had prepared a delightful lunch that awaited the group.

What and Where
We meet on Wednesday mornings, September to May, from 11.00 till 12.00. The first part of our meeting takes the form of a short act of worship involving hymn-singing (accompanied by a flute), readings, prayer and recorded music.
We have a small group of volunteers who take it in turn to lead ensuring a variety of approaches. We occasionally have a guest speaker.
That is followed by tea or coffee, biscuits and chat. On special occasions there can even be home-baking.
It is a good chance to meet new people or get to know some people better in a friendly atmosphere. Why not come along one Wednesday and give it a try?
You might enjoy the experience and want to come again!
